Birla Mandir

The Birla Mandir is a beautiful temple located on the national highway towards Titwala. The temple is dedicated to Vithoba. Constructed by the Birla family on a small hill, it is known for its exclusive architecture and is well known for film shooting. A large number of visitors from Mumbai come to the temple to seek blessings and soak themselves in the beauty of the architecture and numerous sculptures. Children can play and relax in the beautiful and clean garden in front of the temple. One can avail the mini train in the garden which functions in the evening. Another prime attraction of the temple is the carvings on the pillars and walls. The temple has a huge hall to accommodate many devotees. There are stairs on both sides leading to the temple. The artwork of the temple gives an insight about the myths. The century old temple is so maintained that it appears new. The gate has a beautiful carving and have a carving of Lord Garuda on the top. There are idols of Vithoba, Rukmini, Narayan and Lord Ganesh.
